I was going down I-5 yesterday and the alarm went off and jacks down light came on. I stopped and the jacks were up and the hyd pump was running like someone was hold down a switch. I looked at the jacks pad and the light for the left rear jack was on. I pushed the emergency stop button and the pump stopped. I let go of it and the pump starts again. So I pulled the key pad out and unpluged the jacks. That stopped the alarm.
Anyone know what is going on?

Jacks problem solved. You may want to check your coach for this also. Above the curb side front wheel was a wiring harness that was held by a plastic r clamp. The harness was from the HWH system. The clamp broke and allowed the harness to drop down onto the tire and cause a short. Clamp was replaced with a metal one and wiring repaired and all is happy now. It was sure nice that it was so simple.
Thanks to Dale also for the links to the information on the HWH system. I printed them out and put in my Alpine file.

I had the same problem when new, but caught it before the tire rubbed up a problem. I took a mostly flattened Corona bottle cap (was in the middle of Baja and happened to have one handy) and put a screw thru it into the ceiling of the wheel bay to hold the harness. Other brands of cap might work also; remove the beer first.

EM,
What if you need 5-6 caps?
Would you recommend boondocking overnight?

Once I remove the second wire-harness-holddown-cap from its packaging, I'm in for the night.
I haven't figured any uses for Don Julio caps yet; still in the research stage on that one, but I'm having trouble reading my journal notes so I have to start over each time.
