We have a 2004 Alpine and need to know where the leveling sensor is on our unit, if anyone has any information on this it would be greatly appreciated.

I believe you will find it attached to the ceiling of your basement in the rear cargo bay. Look for a box that's spring mounted with adjusting screws on the four sides.

Hi Greg/Peggy,

Welcome!!

I was sure someone here would know the answer to your question...I'm glad you tried this site, and hope you continue to come back here.

Don't hesitate to use the "Find" capability to find answers to some of your questions, too. This site has been used for several years, so there is a ton of info available here.

Hope you can get your leveling issue resolved.

Greg/Peggy,

In '04 or'05 WRV changed the system. The early ones have the master HWH control behind the dash and the level sensor under the floor behind the water tank. The unit is a round flat silver unit held off of the floor on springs with 3 screws. The later units have the HWH control in the compartment behind the passenger side front wheel. The control is a good size plastic box with a clear cover. The level adjustment for this system in on the lower right side of the control box, when looking at the box from in front of the clear cover. The adjuster is a 7/8" or 3/4" plastic nut with a phillips screw in its bottom. Turning the nut makes one adjustment, front to rear or side to side, and the screw makes the other adjustment. This depends on how the box is mounted. There are 4 LEDs in the box to tell you how to do the adjustment, the procedure is explained in the owners manual. If you need any more help PM me.

Dale

My '04 was delivered in February of '04, and it has the latter system that Dale described. Easy to adjust.
