hydro hot/aqua hot

is hydro hot and aqua hot the same company? and are they the same thing? do they both have the same parts?

They are the same company. It is my understanding that Aqua Hot has 3 zones and Hydro Hot has 2 zones. In addition, both have the basement heater.

Several years ago, Aqua hot discontinued all Hydro Hot units, and converted them to comply with Canadian requirements. All new units are Aqua Hot, they also make a propane powered unit for smaller MH's and 5th wheels. The 450D unit is a nice one and would be a direct replacement for our units which are HHE-200-09E 12VDC one. It I believe (have not read OM) does not shut off the heat when using hot water.
