Hydro Hot Nozzle

I changed the fuel filter for the HH and then I was going to change the nozzle. Low and behold it appears that the nozzle faces the back of the bin. Do I have to remove the whole HH unit to change the nozzle and perform the other maintenance. If so is there anything else I should do or take a look at while I have it out.

Thanks, Terry

Can you remove the burner assembly from the front? 2 nuts loosened then pivot bolts out and gently remove burner assembly.
On our HH the nozzle does spray towards back but the burner unit is removed to change the nozzle.

Be very careful not to overtighten the nuts holding the Webasto onto the unit. You don't want to break the lugs.

Thanks guys, I'll take another look at it tomorrow. This is my first time with Hydro Hot and I didn't want to screw anything up.

Here is a thread where I did the maintenance on a hydro hot. There are a couple pictures showing the burner out and the nozzle.

Thanks for the help. I got 'er done. It was a very easy process once I got the info about the 2 bolts that hold the burner assy in.

I did notice one of the hold downs or ears that the bolts attach to has a small crack so I will replace the blower casing or come up with another fix. It's pretty flimsy. I did mange to get it back in and snug enough to hold. Something to ponder.

I printed the manual that Jerry attached so I'm good to go for future issues.

Thanks, Terry

Snug enough to hold is good enough. If you had to, I'd break off the cracked tab & replace it back w/JB-Weld & a small aluminum sheet metal (or galvanized would work fine) gusset for added strength.
Then, don't go past snug cuz that's all that's req'd.
