The ice maker in our Amana has developed an issue. Where the water feeds into the tray there is a slight drip that drips into the ice bucket and ends up being a glacier after a short while. The unit still makes cubes. I think I might have to remove the unit to see if there is anything obvious. Any input will be most appreciated.
Thanks

The icemaker itself is a tad off level probably due to a loose screw which holds the icemaker to the freezer wall. Check to see if icemaker unit itself is fully screwed in tight/level...the unit itself might be off kilter from the shake, rattle and roll of driving and since it is a residential unit...you can get an icemaker kit at an amana dealer for less than $75...just dismount the old and remount the new and you are good to go.

Just a short thank you note to BillArf and bullydogs1. Raising the unit by adjusting the aft screw eliminated the glacier. Thanks again
