Dose anyone know what key patter was used for Alpine coach ignition keys. I managed to loose one for my 2005 Alpine. I went to a good local lock smith and he thought that it was a GM key. We’ve tried several different patterns and none have worked. The groves in the side if the keys just don’t match. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

A local locksmith matched mine with no problem, but it was so long ago I forgot what blank he used. It has "ILCO" logo on it, as well as "1970", "RA4" and "AM" stamped on it. Hope that helps.

Send a message via AIM to Louie & Linda
I was told the blank used to replacate mine was an AMC (American Motors Corp) key blank.

My 2005 Alpine used the same blank as Jim A:

ILCO
1970
RA4
AM

Got it from a general hardware store (not a walmart or lowes, who said they couldn't match).

The day I bought my used Alpine, the dealer gave me 2 ignition keys. Within 5 minutes of taking delivery, I inserted the first key, which promptly broke off in the ignition, leaving me with just 1 key. After getting the broken part removed with a needle nose pliers, I made it my mission to get several replacement keys right away!

The ignition key on all wrv's are the same. The lock is from a farm tractor. They are all the same. And yes it was an amc blank.
