I am having a Splendide installed in our MH after 3 years of full timing. Kathy has finally decided she can not do without one. I offered to put a laundry center in the patio area of both our lots and she still probably will make me do that but still insist on the Splendide.
My question is, where is the vent routed on models with the combo unit installed in the rear passenger side? If it is acceptable to vent into the area just forward of the rear cap it would make for a short and clean place to route the vent duct. I worry that the moisture trapped in that area may cause problems. The other option is out the side about 33 inches below the roof.

Wayne,
ours is about 28 from the bottom of the roof cap to the top of the exterior vent housing. It is about an inch in from the seam of the rear cap.

Forget the Splendide and go with the ventless LG-no wrinkles, more capacity, less time, etc, same space!

I had a 2002 Alpine, the wall had a decal showing were to cut the hole for the vent. The vented 2100 is an excllent machine. We installed one in our Alpine a few years after getting the coach. We ordered our current coach with the 2100 and we a very happy with the machine.
most ventless machines the clothes do not get completely dry in the machine.
