I had a trouble code on my old (Alpine Avalanche) Quiet Diesel 7500 that lead me to Cummins West where they had to replace a sensor, this was under warranty so don't know the cost (I am sure it wasn't cheap). The issue was that the genset was putting out 120V at 70 Hz, thus they had to replace a sensor buried in the unit.

Out of curiosity, what were your symptoms? There was a Guy near San Diego who rebuilt Zantrex Inverters that I was told about. When I contacted him he was on vacation, I never contacted him again. I have no idea if he works on Onan stuff. I might be able to find his contact numbers if you are still interested? Also what was the cost to replace your inverter, I know Cummins is proud of their parts and charge accordingly.

For future reference Flight Systems in PA has a replacement line of generator repair parts. Better prices and sometimes better quality than some of the OEM.
