Invertor Issues 40 ft Alvanche

My converter has gone dead. NO lights on control panel inside coach or on the unit itself in the back of the underside cargo bay. Control panel inside coach keeps displaying "attempting to connect". Anyone had this issue. Thought it might be a circuit breaker somewhere, but no luck in locating it, if one exists.

What inverter/charger do you have?



Are you plugged into known, good shore power? Same symptoms if you run the generator?

Equinox Series HJBAA RV inverter-charger.
Model: 3.0HJBAA 2004 Alpine Alvanche 40fter. The control panel in the coach keeps saying 'establishing communication" and the inverter in the cargo bay appears to be dead. No lights. There is 12 volts at the terminal on the inverter. Is there a reset on this inverter? All DC circuits appear to be working in the RV. There is no difference between shore power or no shore power. The generator is controlled from the panel so I have not started the gen. I might be able to start the generator from the control panel on the gen itself, altho I have yet to try that.

Mine died I had to do away with the system altogether and run a remote start for my gen set in place of equinox panel..

Hedge could u tell me how you hooked up the remote start for your gen after the removed the inverter.
