KingDome Died

Hi All,

This is my second KingDome death. The first one was motor control boards, this time it was the drive motors. So, I decided to upgrade to the WineGard Travler automatic dish.

What a difference! The old KingDome maybe got a 70% signal, the new dish boomed through at 93%! One button push and the new dish arises like a phoenix, rotates, adjusts the angle, and locks on the first try . Boy, is my co-pilot happy!

Hi E-Mike,

List price incl applicable tax was $2002. My extended warantee paid $645 toward the purchase.

We made the same replacement in Feb. 08 (when Winegard's HD local channel model became available) and it provides a stronger, more reliable signal in difficult areas. We also have picked up our HD local channels 400 miles from home, which is an improvement! very pleased.
