Kitchen Cabinet Hinges Part Deux

Well, I thought the other hinge thread had given me the info to replace a cabinet hinge but to no avail.

The Youngdale #6 is different from the hinge below that I'm looking for...

Anybody know what hinge this is?

Thanks,

Mark

20+ years as a cabinet maker and I can honestly say I've never seen a hinge like that.

If push comes to shove, you could always by a a new set of hinges that approximate the opening... my guess is it's between 90° and 120°... and then just replace however many hinges came on the door originally.

Look here and here for replacements... something there should work.

Good luck!

Thanks for the reply.

Apparently my Google-Fu is most strong; I did a search on 'vertical cabinet hinge' and scrolled through 50 or so images and found a similar hinge.

From there, I determined they were OEM on older Monaco coaches and found a couple of online RV dealers that carried the hinges. No one had the polished brass, so I had to settle for antique brass.

Ordered them yesterday from Dyers RV Parts in AZ and got them today!

Hope someone else can benefit from this...
