Kitchen Faucet

Just finished installation on the new kitchen faucet. Finally got rid of the old white Moen that was slowly turning yellow.

Next will be the backsplash. Working on the picture. Crap it is sideways!

Looks like the one my sister has in her S&B. Is that a standard home faucet and if so, where did you get it from and how did you connect it?

Or you could just replace the yellowing spray head. Part # 103435W.

We could have, but it developed a drip from the bottom too. Plus, the new one gives Patty a bit more room between the faucet and sink for doing pans ect.

It is a standard kitchen faucet, but we needed a 3/8" male 1/2" male adapter between the supply lines and the MH lines. Pretty easy. Bought it a Lowes. It is a Kohler.

Funny, I just got done replacing my Moen with another white Moen. Letting it sit to see if any leaks.

The kitchen faucet was one of the first things I replaced in our coach 10 years ago. I put in a Grohe. Very happy with it.

Looks great! Must be the season to replace the kitchen faucet, just replaced mine last weekend and have the bruises on the back of my left arm to prove it. LOL

I know you dont want to hear this but for those out there that might be considering replacing their old Moens.....Moens are guaranteed for life--just called their customer service line, said it was leaking, and for like maybe $70 [or was it $60] "processing and handling," they sent me a "suitable" replacement [didnt make my 13-year old faucet anymore]......No proof of purchase or anything--just the serial number....Dont recall if I had to send the old one back or not--dont think so.....

"Yellowing" probably doesn't count as a warranty issue but I agree Moen will replace one that has a real problem. My hand shower at home had a leak and they replaced it for free, no questions asked.

Once I get into a project I need to get it done so I can go onto the next one with all of the toys I have to maintain. I paid $124 at Lowe's, but I had to get an adapter for each of the new 3/8 inch hose ends to the 1/2 inch lines.

That looks great, Tom & Patty. Did you use the Smart Tiles from HD/Lowe's? I'm considering putting those in our Bounder, but gotta get my S&B remodel done first.
