Our kitchen faucet has become extremely difficult (almost impossible) to rotate. Has anyone else had this problem? How did you fix it?

We (Jim) just got done replacing both our kitchen and bathroom faucets. We have a 2005 FDTS 40 foot, so assume you have the same faucets we do.

Agree w/alpinerver that the ones from the factory are cheap. Our kitchen faucet "locked up" as well and would not rotate. We purchased some very nice Kohler faucets at Home Depot. They weren't cheap, but we expect they will last a long time.

JIM & INGRID:

When intalling your new kitchen faucet, did you have to drill additional holes in the countertop? I want to replace the poor quality unit that came in the coach but single hole models seem hard to come by.

NOTHING DRIVES LIKE AN ALPINE!!!!!!!!

No, we just went to Lowe's and they had the one Kathy wanted. It was a one hole mount Moen unit.

Basil,

We didn't have to drill another hole either. We purchased a Hansgrohe model (my mistake when I said Kohler - that was the bath faucet) from Home Depot. It is a "high arc kitchen faucet w/pull-out spray". I (Ingrid) love it!
