Light Circuit

I am checking out my overhead wiring and television connections an a 2008 Alpine 34FDDS. I have 2 lights under the front cabinets that light the dash that are not working. Where are they controlled? I have a switch for the entrance overhead lights and they work. They are on the ceiling over the entrance. Should the lights under the cabints come on with the entrance lights?

Is there a wheel for dimming the dashboard instrument lights? If so see if it will click to turn on the overhead cabinet lights. I think that is where the switch is for them.

Yes you rotate the dash light control all the way to full on and then with a little pressure it should click and turn those down lights on.

I wouldn't say it actually makes sense to do it that way but it appears to be one of the few things WRV didn't change in 10 years.

It took us the better part of a week to figure out how to turn those on.

It actually makes sense if you stop and think about it.

IN your car you have a "Dome Light" works the same way.

Well...... Those are Dome lights.

Actually my car doesn't work that way, but thank you for your insight.
