I have a 2000 36FDS with the prewired CB antenna. After looking all around under the dash I still havn't located the antenna wire. Where is it usually located?

We have the same year coach as yours, but ours is a mid-door. I recently recaulked around the CB antenna inside and out. I removed the curtain rod, and the paneling up above the driver seat area. The wiring routed towards the cabinet area where the stero components are, along with speaker wires, etc. I did not follow the wiring to see where it actually ended, but would assume under the dash area of the drivers seat. My CB is connected in this area.

Try right above steering column or just to the left of it. On our 99 36fd it was buried above the steering column.

Ours was on the right side of the steering column, wire tied to the top of a wire bundle behind the gauges. I could only see it after using a mirror.

Lindberg,
like most of the other posters, ours is just to the right of the steering column.

Jeff,

That was us passing on your right side. We were returning home from the ACA Desert Rat Rally at Quartzsite.

I finally found the CB antenna wire! It came down from the antenna along the left side of the driver's windshield. After is passed through the dash it was laying under the transmission shift selector.

I connected my CB and received the weather broadcast just fine but didn't hear any talking on the CB.
