I know in the big scheme of things, these are minor concerns. That being said, I'll be darned if I can find the CB wires under the dash. In my 38' coach they were tied to the top of the steering column, easily located. This coach, can't find them at all. Also any thoughts on where the sat radio antenna wire is? Hopefully, some of you have gone through the process on an '05 and can tell me just where to look, where they're supposed to be.
Thanks in advance.
David

I had the same problem locating my CB antenna wires as well. I had to reach as far as I could from the driver side into the center windshield post and found them. Whoever was supposed to bring them out to a location easily available obviously didn't. I still don't know where the sat radio antenna is.

My owner's manual said the CB wires were located under the dash, directly underneath the ignition key.

WRONG

When the techs at camp run a muck found them, they were all the way over on the passengers side.

I found the XM radio antenna wires on the passenger side. They would not work with the XM receiver I bought so I add the wire from the new antenna. I have not looked for the CB cable.

On my "05 the CB wire was bundeled up like a new clothesline at a hardware store, wrapped with black tape, and crammed over top of the round air ducts to the left of where they come out of the plenum, under the dash against the front fire wall. I was able to get at them after first removing the dash. The XM antenna cord wit 2 plastic plugs was against the firewall on the passenger side jammed up behind the AC vent hoses. Note: I busted off the plastic "connector covers" and found that the metal coax connector works fine with my SIRIUS radio,

How do you identify these wires when you do locate them. Are they tagged as to what they are for or color coded or what?

The CB wire is the standard black coax cable about 1/4" in diamater and it has a standard coax connector that fits almost all CB radios. The XM cable is a pair of very skinny coax cables (less thatn 1/8" each) that are jacketed together untill the last few feet. Although they have metal mini-coax connectors on them the connectors are inside propriotary plastic outer connecters for a specific XM radio (I'm not sure which ones) I believe they were blue and green in color. BY trial and error I found one worked perfectly with my Sirius radio. I'm not sur what the other is for but can't help but wonder that it may be for GPS.
Good luck,
Matt
