Looking at a 2000 38FDDS

I have been browsing several forums and here which by the way this is the best forum that I have been able to find for Alpines. Anyways looking at a 2000 38FDDS that seems like it has been well taken care of and has lot's of records. There will be a few things that will need to be addressed.

Are there certain things I need to pay closer attention to relating to this partictular year of Alpine. Such as if something should have been changed or replaced by now. The coach has 120k miles which doesn't bother me.

Thanks

Do a search of this website--lots of info here. Off the top-- first Alpines came with 2-piston brake calipers which had some annual maint. requirements and some fail issues if not properly maint. Around 2000, WRV transitioned to 4-piston brakes which have few issues and less maint......

This particular coach has 2 piston calipers , the rears are new and we always change the fluid once a year. But we use the coach regularly I think that helps to
