Our coach is a 2007 APEX that was new yet when we purchased it last March. The dealer had replaced the eight 6 volt batteries prior to our purchase and apparently lost one of the floats. Needless to say one cell tended to over flow. BFS sent me to Mountain Top Golf who is a dealer for them. I purchased a number of floats and two spare valves. There is a new version of the valve which is Part Number B51000TBB which is the Bayonet stye and was $8 per valve. The floats were .95 cents each. Other than the leaking valve due to no float it works well. I will however replace them with AGM batteries when they start to fail as I did in my previous coach. For now they are working well.

The following is the phone number for Mountain Top Golf, 828-963-8159.

They were very friendly and very willing to help me even though my sale was only $20.

And just an FYI, there are different floats for different batteries. The Trojan battery takes a 29 mm float and the Interstate batteries take a 34 mm float. The number is on the bottom of the float. And the part number is 0722-XX, with the last two digits being the float size. My coach apparently had Trojan batterries originally as the floats are 29 mm but Mountain Top Golf told me the 29 mm will work with the Interstates that are the replacements. Better to have a bit more water added than not enough and it hasn't been a problem so far, no excessive venting.

I am bringing a sack full of floats to Quartzsite for anybody that wants them. Might cost you a drink.
