I've been getting the STOP engine and the low coolant level warning recently. Cummins Northeast found that the sensor had failed. Coolant had leaked through the sensor, into the plug and the cable.
The sensor is a Ford part - yes indeed. Luckily it is identical to a sensor they use in Cummins marine engines. This they had. Thought all was well but the fault keeps appearing. The plug and cable had been soaked with coolant and has to be replaced. They didn't have a pigtail so that will have to wait. OK to drive - with earplugs.
Just be aware of the issue.
