I would like to have the generator go out last as dash air is not enough when temperature is over 100 sure would like a bypass or something.

Since the generator uses only a gallon or so per hour, I'm not sure I see your problem as long as you have adequate fuel on board. Part of RVing is thinking through what you are going to do ahead of time including making sure you have sufficient fuel on board in case of problems, especially when you are out in 100° temperatures. The engineering and where to put the cut off for the generator was solid. We always fill at 1/2 tank - that means 400 miles or so, easy to plan and Gas Buddy is your friend.
