I am looking to add an macerator pump system to my coach. I was at Camping World today and looked for the system they sell but they were sold out. Has anyone installed a system on their coach and if so what kind, was it easy to install? I found a web site on ebay and looked at what they had to offer. Their model is less than Camping World by $20.00 including shipping. Any information would be appreciated.

The "pros" to a Macerator pump system are obvious but has anyone experience a downside? Traditional dumping of the black tank via the water flush and a 3" hose would seem to help move "solids" along. Using the pump and a 3/4" hose will draw out the black water ok but could more solids get left behind and eventually plug the tank drain?

I`ve had the Sani-Con system on 2 coaches & have had no problems -- Much easier to store hoses & very easy to add extensions -- It will pump about 200ft with ease -- Bill Willard

I have a RV Sanicon and it works just fine. My biggest complaint is with the size of our tanks, it takes too long to empty the tanks. I use mine when I am traveling but if I am parked for a month or more I use the ole 3 inch hose. The 05 Alpines have the gray water tank below the black water tank and the gray water bypass is not very effective. Just my 2 cents.
