i have a 40' 2007 front door alpine. it has 4 magic beds. one of the main reasons we changed from a 2006 36 ft alpine. i was showing them off to a SOB owner last week. the Question was asked, can the magic beds be opened in case of a no ele problem with dead batteries? i didn't have an answer but i an suer on the forum has one. should i keep a small tool set in the coach in case i can't get the drawer slides to work.
thank you,
woodinboater

woodinboater,

It is the same as for the slides, although I would always just jump for some power first. The problem is which valve controls which bed, the factory didn't seem to have that info for us late owners. I think that 2 beds are controlled by the valves in the compartment behind the RF wheel and the other 2 are controlled by a set of valves under the floor in one of the smart bed bays. I plan to make a diagram of mine when I get a chance and will post it if no one else does it first.

I don't think anyone knows.I even called HWH and they said the valves for the smart beds were in with the Hdy pump.WRONG All of mine (06 Apex) were in the overhead of the 2nd compartment beside the water pump. The good thing is on the wires they are all labeled as to witch valves operate witch smart.
