At factory pick up I expressed concern with the unprotected position of the inverter on the back wall. As a full-timer I knew the compartment would be full. The tech constructed a carpeted three sided frame around it leaving 3" for cooling air.Yesterday seeing water running out both sides of my coach I opened the door near the electric take up reel to see the compartment awash and a strong shower coming out the bottom of the Shureflow water pump (not in use we were on city water with a pressure restricter installed). While we lost many clothing items to water damage the prtective frame around the inverter prevented a holocaust. With city water hooked up water pressure comes to the output side of the pump it acts as its own one way check valve (not a good idea). I must say I am not impressed having the water pump installed within inches (extending just below the carry beam)of the electrics!
