PDF is a file format used by Adobe Acrobat and Adobe reader. It allows a file to generally be reduced in size and be emailed in a secure format which will not transfer viruses or allow the original file to be changed.

You can take a standard Word doc file and use Word's print function. Select the Print option and then modify> select Print PDF and a place to put the file and let the program do the work.

You will need Adobe Reader to view the files. If you have Acrobat you can make note and comments to the file.

Ken, You can email them to me at the address on the Tech Library page. If you would rather mail them on a CD, email me for my mailing address.

RedHotSoup,

Welcome to iRV2, hope you stick around after you get your manual. Not sure if this will help but at the bottom of this post I placed a link to a downloadable .pdf file for an A&E Manual.

Hello, ok, in the Alpine Apex, where might the control unit be installed. I have never see it, and don't have a clue where it might be. I also don't know how large the unit is. I assume it's close to the awning, but I have never seen it. I do hope it is not behine the panel above the refer, as I don't know how to remove that access panel.

Monty, on my 2006 Apex FDQS, the awning control box in on the basement ceiling forward on the passenger side.

In Idaho, heading west.

I have the basic 12v electrical diagram and info on the interconnect switch for an 2004 coach however can't find your address on the Tech Library page. It would be good if I could use e-mail to send them to you or Mike.
