Hello everyone...hoping for some guidance getting our Main Slide pushed out.
Jacks are down, I hit the HYD button once, and then hit the expand button on the main control dash panel and all we got was some noise like it was trying to push out...but acted like it was stuck. A quick look at the owner's manual shows a "Master Switch" for the slide...but does not show where that switch is located.
Anyone with a 2003 Alpine Coach or familar with where that master switch is? Much appreciated on any quick feedback...livin' tight for the time being.
PS - the bedroom slides both went out without a problem...although passenger side seems to stop about 6 inches short.
Thanks Eusefull

have you chcked the level of your hydraulic fluid? If you retract the 2 bedroom slides does the main slide move? I have an '03 but I have not heard of nor seen a 'Master Switch'.

I'm with work2play on this one. My experience with this problem has all been related to hydraulic leaks. I would look all around the hydraulic hoses, under the coach, and at the reservoir level to make sure I didn't have a hydraulic leak.

Thanks everyone.... hey Dave...what year is your coach? When you say above the Expand /Retract switch? My main slide switch is part of the control panel in the dash that slides in and out.

First rule of the forum is to figure out if the person you are getting your "advise" from has the same model year--even within model year things change.
Have never heard of a master switch on our 2003. If the HWH panel is on and the pump is running it should work. Unless its a valve issue at the pump manifold, otherwise, I'd vote for low fluid too.
PS the bedroom slide on the passenger side is a scissor config--it always looks like its about 6 inches short of full extension.

Hello Euseful:
I have a 2001 Alpine and on the HWH panel I have tow switches for the main slide and the generator slide. You can look the photo to see how the 2001 were set up. Ihope this makes it easier to understand what I was talking about.
