In my 2001 you cannot extend the slide without "tricking" the HWH system into thinking the jacks are down. You do this by first performing a "level" operation or manually deploying the jacks and cancelling it before it is complete (this is why you saw slides out and jacks up). Since it is a safety issue (in my mind) if you are able to drive off with jacks down, I am wondering if HWH changed their software to disable moving with jacks down, rather than just sound and alarm. If they did, it seems logical that the same status would prevent the slides from operating. Even if they didn't, it still seems logical that a jacks down status or drive status would prevent a slide from operating. Which leads back to my previous post regarding the connectors/wires. Just something to consider.

Hope to get someone from HWH to call us today. Not sure I will get the correct answer from Alpine reps as I got two different answers from two reps about another question I called about.

Our first problem is we are so out of level and can not get the jacks down. We are going to call to see if we can drive the coach (with the slides out) to a more level part of the park and then try.

Ofcourse, the really great thing would be if the Service Center in Flagstaff would send someone to us.

Will let you know today, thanks for all the help. I just hate being out of control.
