Missed Miramar v1.0, glad to be on board for v2.0 this year. Everybody who was there 1st time raved. I plan to bring ear muffs for the flight line experience.

Not sure if it will happen, but fellow Alpiner 'Family Man' has requested duty at the show. He drives jets for Uncle Sam out of Yuma AZ for a living (teaches in fighter aircraft IIRC). They deliver a jet each year for a "static display," a plane parked for viewing, and the pilot stays on as the docent. There are approximately 1.5 million logistical military & other details that have to drop correctly for this to occur. 6 of those things are, naturally as his nom de plume suggests- wife & 5 kids. Hoping he will be our active duty Alpiner at the show.
