The restructuring of manufactoring the MH is great, however, what will this do for our NOW out of service Alpine? I hope this will help expedite our service!

I wish WRV and Ron Doyle all of the best in their new relationship with Monomoy Capital Partners. I hope that it will improve the weak areas and be beneficial for the company and the owners of WRV products.

I am greatly encouraged by this announcement, I think in time, you will all see improvements in the areas that have caused us frustrations. Bob Lee has a tremendous reputation, both in and around the RV Industry.

I believe the best thing Alpine owners can do at this point is to comment on positive areas/people at WRV and constructively point our areas that could be improved. I am sure various individuals at WRV and the buying folks are reading our comments. My personal opinion is that we as Alpine owners and in particular those of us in the ACA, Alpine Coach Association, can make very positive contributions to those folks in the position to do the right things at WRV. The ACA and its members have been a very big supporter of WRV and have been responsible thru rallies of a great number of sales. Lets see if we can help shape changes with our constructive comments versus speculation on what negative things could happen!! My two cents!!!

We all know that WRV has struggled financially for several years now, with Ron just one step away from bankruptcy - doing his best to keep the company afloat. Bob Lee & Monomoy are not going to put their money in a company that they don't think is going to turn around and succeed after restructuring.

The Alpine Owners & ACA need to stand behind this new endeavor to turn the company around and give positive feedback to constructively help them build a stronger Customer Service and Quality Control so that we can all be successful and happy campers.

We certainly would not have "invested" in a new APEX if we didn't believe that Management was capable of turning things around and now with Bob Lee coming onboard - he certainly understands what Customer Service & Quality control is all about as his loyal customers from Country Coach will atest.

Thanks for the clarification Danny

It would be great if the founder could work with 'new' management - he could provide the passion to keep 'his baby' going and thriving.
Alpine has in the past proven to be inovative and will face much tougher competition in this freature driven field.
The secret may be in 'finding the right nitch' - there are plenty of companies trying to become what could be called Bluebird/Prevost wannabees.
I for one don't want a 45' behemoth that wouldn't be allowed on some roads.
Alpine may have to go to 'Air Brakes' to gain greater capacity = It should be possible to produce an vehicle with a capacity of 40,000 lb.
plus without going to a 'tag axle'.
Meritor Front Axles
Rear Axle

It also may require going to a 24" tire to gain capacity = but that would surely differentiate Alpine from other manufactures.
Something must change after viewing a few Apexes with redicuously low CCC.

I agree with jetar, we need to focus on the positive! I as much as anyone knows the difficulties some of us had early on in our coach ownership days. We made it through that time, as did the ACA with its growing pains and look at us now. We are a strong vibrant organization with a bright future.

MCP would do well to establish a closer bond with the ACA. I have been close to the board of directors of the ACA for years and you will not find a group of people more dedicated to the wellbeing of its members and WRV.

As owners of our second Alpine coach, we believe in the product, and the people within our factory, service and definitely our ACA. Sometimes it just gets a little down trying to get things done. We would NOT trade our coach for any other out there on the market. When we purchased our second coach we were sure that we would get better service..and to a point we have. Everyone is trying, This may be just the 'shot in the arm' we all need! We are definitely on the positive bench! We all need each other!
