Motorhome Destruction Derby

Don't know if any of you blokes watch BBCA, that's BBCAmerica on the telly, but today the show Top Gear had an actual motorhome destruction derby. It didn't start out to be like that but that's what ended up happening. Sort of fun to watch. Obviously no vehicles as posh as ours were included. At the end of the show, they showed a German class A that had a roadster in the basement compartments.

The last few years on the Speed Channel at 4:30 in the afternoon M-F Lucas Motor Oil "On The Edge" show. Would have races like: trailer figure 8 race, where you had to pull a trailer, either a boat or RV around a figure 8 track. Or school bus demolition derby. Chain race, where 3 vehicles were chained together, the middle car did not have a driver, just the guy in front and the rear, and they went around a figure 8 track....The tire race...They would race around a oval track, but on one of the straight-a-ways there would be a giant tractor tire, you had to do a 360 around the tire each lap of the race. Team demolition race, teams of 5 or 6 cars would race around a dirt track, and the object would be to crash out the one car per team that was the leader. If the leader's car made 10 laps, that team was the winner. So the other team would try to crash that car.....to prevent it from making its 10 laps....Car soccer. teams or 5-6 cars would play soccer with a 10' steel soccer ball. And the list goes on

You can watch old Top Gear shows on Netflix. Also there is an American version of Top Gear on the History channel but not nearly as good.
