Does anyone know what receiver will work on my Executive 3 Mosat dish. I'm new at this and I'm fumbling thru trying to make things work. I found the positioner behind my tv and it looks to be in good shape. Thanks, Joe

If you are talking about a MotoSAT Executive dish which has a rectangular silver box as the controller and this controller is operated by your receiver remote control, the answer is.... You need to buy a new controller!
The one you have will only work with one of the very old RCA receivers with a low speed data port. I am not even sure DirecTV would even activate this receiver if you had one, but even if they would, you wouldn't want to.
You will want to update to a Nomad 2 or Nomad 3 controller. With this you will be able to pick up the DirecTV 101 satellite only so no HDTV or local Network TV programming but nearly all of the other DTV programming is available on 101 including the Distant Network Services from NY and LA.
