Muffler Hanger Part Number?

Getting things in order for the wintertime maintenance projects.

The exhaust muffler (Fleetguard #86542) and the lower straps (2) of the muffler hanger both have severe rust issues where they come together underneath the muffler. It's just a matter of time.

The local MT Cummins dealer can get another muffler, but not a clue for a part number on the hanger. Other threads haven't produced a number.

Does anyone have the muffler hanger part number? Source?

2003 36' FDDS, 400 ISL

Thank you.

Try NAPA take the hanger with you and they will match it up

Removing it from my particular Alpine Coach is the last resort - crampted. And I only want to reinstall once.

But I did paste/print a photo from Beagle RC Air's muffler conversion thread and took it to Cummins, NAPA, and another - no luck. Nelson is next.

Thanks for the input.

After a few hours "on-hold" or being schuffled back and forth between Nelson, Fleetguard, and Cummins, I have a part number if anyone is interested.

Nelson number is: Q27375

Fleetguard number is: 3918230-S (Requires 2)

You may want to change out the other parts of the exhaust system while you are at it.

The other option is to take this job to an independent muffler shop. They usually make their own hangers on the spot, as well as do all the tubing & misc welding work. Call around to find out who does "custom" work and ask if they'll do a motorhome.
