well progress on the alpine is slow or not even moving....problem for me is.... the sofa has a seating area of 5'7".... so that means if mamma every kicks me out of bed.... can't even strech out....that and no cup holders... I'm not letting her have that upper hand so what I did was made new sofa ends with cup holders now the sleeping area is 6'7'' and there are 4 cup holders

finally got the sofa bolted down...gotta say though.... not too impressed with the quality vs price.....horrible upholstery work... , you can see the stacked foam that moves around...got the passenger seat installed and there's some thing broke inside the seat oh well to do over,... I would have left i9t alone.... the OG seats are way more comfy ... and look better

What flooring did you go with? And wasn't sure if it was under the slide? Did you leave carpet on the slide?

I also wanted new captains chairs & couch. Researched for months, and could not find anything of the quality that I have. Got a quote from a much recommended rv upholsterer, $1,000 per chair and $2,000 for the couch. I felt this was a little excessive. Then I found the answer for me, an avid do-it-yourselfer. Underneath your flex steel couch and captain chairs is a folded piece of paper with the manufacturing codes on it. If you call flex steel and ask for Lisa Bauer, she will send you the original, pre sewn skins for your chairs and couch. I ordered 2 new captain skins with pre installed optional high quality foam for $450.00 per chair. For the couch, I didn't want ultra-leather (plastic) because it sweats in the summer and is cold in the winter. She sent me fabric samples and I chose one that went with my decor, $450.00. Foam was not included, as it is a permanent part of the couch frame. Installation was simple. The chairs you can do in place, and took me about an hour per chair. The couch needed to be unbolted from the floor and pulled out into the center of the room. The couch took about 2 1/2 hours. You will need hog rings and hog pliers to install, both available on Amazon. You will also need a upholsterers staple gun for parts of the couch, available on Amazon for under $40.00. The chairs anyone can do, the couch was a little more involved, but very doable if you are handy and good at figuring things out.
