We are looking for storage in the Concord, Walnut Creek, Clayton area for our 40 foot Alpine. I'm striking out everywhere I've looked. Anyone know of anything? We're wanting to move it out of the heat of the desert. Thanks.

Pam and Bud,
are you moving from La Quinta or just desiring to move your coach out of the desert?

If your staying in La Quinta have you looked into storing your coach indoors? We have a facility close to us in Banning that stores in side at a fairly reasonable rate.

Pam & Bud...
There is a person I know (actually a retired ex-boss...ok semi-retired ...he sold the business I worked at and opened the RV storage in conjunction with another business) that has an enclosed storage area for RV type stuff. I do not know what he charges but it is in Woodland - which might be closer to Concord than Banning. If you like, I can check to see if he has any openings...

Hey everyone, thanks for the input. I've also been getting info from Pat Abernathy, but we decided to pay for the year again in LaQuinta and wing it as we head north for the summer. Paying annually is about the same as paying the monthly rate for eight months, so at least we have a sure spot when we return in Oct. I have driven by the covered storage units in Banning and they look very nice. I've googled all over northern CA and have talked to many nice people! Thanks again to all of you and Gail Stacy. See you in Bethel Island in June!

Woodland is about 12 minutes north & west of Sacramento.
There is also a nice facility called something like Country Coach Showcase & Toy Storage in Rocklin, 20 minutes east of Sacto & just off Hwy 80. Large indoor storage facility w/alotta coaches & large boats. They have a new CC store along Hwy 80 a stones throw from the Camping World. Its officially off limits for my wife.
