We are not home for the summer so I cannot give specifics. The mechanic had been on the phone all day looking for something for an Alpine and they no longer made it, he said. HE advised me to try to buy something still in production, but as I said, he was frustrated that day

Well a lot of motorhomes have either the Cummins ISC or CAT engines which are no longer "in production" but spares are available so I wouldn't rule out buying one of these. I think the issue with the Alpine and many other coaches no longer produced is identifying the correct part. Luckily this forum and the ACA have built up a knowledge base that can help with almost anything needed on these motorhomes.
