I am interested in 34RL new Alpinelite 5th wheel.

I just heard today about Western Recreational Vehicles buyout.

Any comments on Service, Axels, Warrantee or is this a good investment.

I have owned my 98 Cardinal since 2000 and been very satisfied.

We are now on the road full time and want to upgrade. Have a 06 350 Ford 4x4 dulley

Card- I think you are on the wrong forum; Alpine Coach (diesel pusher motorhome) owners hang out here. You'll get better feedback here, scroll down to Travel Trailers & 5th Wheels and find a category that fits your questions. Good luck.

Hi - We used to own a 34ft Alpenlite, pulled it with a 450 Ford dulley at first then a Freightline hauler F60 - much better! Anyway, we were very happy with our 5th wheel, as we are with our Alpine Coach. The quality in our 1997 was excellent - we really didn't have any problems.
The general feeling is that WRV is getting their "act" together - don't know about the trailer side but we do see improvement here.

Good luck - and if you buy one besure to join the ATC (Alpenlite Travel Club). You'll get good owner suport there.

Thought this was a good place to post this picture. We were north of Bakersfield on Hwy 99 when we passed this Alpenlite, and Patty snapped the picture.

Tom- Can you move in a little closer next time, I can't read your license plate tags very clearly. Mike

Moving closer would help the fuel mileage too. It might be your best bet to see that 10 mpg you wanted just once!

However, if you were one of those complaining about the brakes, you might want to consider that before you get too close.

What brakes, I never use them except to avoid a dog.

Did you put the PT on the roof? Did Patty ride up on the roof in the GT?
What's an Alpenlite? What's inside that big window?
