Lyle,

There is a highly tecnical computer term that probably fits, "PFM"!

Well the conclusion I came to Sully was that maybe WRV captured one of those alien guys that heals his own wounds and copied his DNA and put that strand in the new APEX coaches. PFM works too.

Greetings from Junction City, Oregon,

There are two Apexs parked here at Guaranty RV side by side, us and the Fivian's. It is a beautiful site!

We are having, guess what, HYDRO-HOT PROBLEMS. When we picked it up at WRV, the back loop (bedroom/bath) at first would not come on and then would not shut off unless I pulled the fuse. WRV found a couple of purple wires reversed and problem solved......for one day. Now it will not come on. But, we have the front loop, heat pumps, an electric heater, etc so we are warm & snug.

We call the Apex our "rolling Palace". We now have all our cabinet work done and it turned out absolutely beautiful. Pictures later. Now we have been able to put things away and look like we live here.

Sorry we will not make it to Quartzsite but we thought it better to get our warranty work done here or back at WRV.

Basil,
sorry you guys couldn't make it down here it is quite a sight! Keep us posted on the hydrohot happenings because we are not out of the woods yet. We still have HH probs in that it does not like to come on. And for some quirky reason if you switch on the electric first the diesel light might then decide to work.

Wayne, It was very good to meet you and you are so right APEX ROCKS!

Greetings from Quartzsite.
We finally got here Thursday night and are camped with California friends around mile marker 2. WHERE IS EVERYBODY? HAS THE RALLY STARTED YET? HA!

We did see an Apex leaving Friday morning. Lyle & Cath, was that you?

Our HydroHot problems went away, ie the rear loop would not come on. We have 3 air conditioners controlled by 3 zones on the thermostat.

Zone 1 is front of coach HH & AC.
Zone 2 is center of coach AC aned miswired for HH in zone 3 rear of coach.
Zone 3 is rear of coach AC and soon to be HH when I figure out how to rewire the thermostat.

We assuned zone 3 HH was controlled by zone 3 on the thermostat. Finally, one night over a glass ow wine with the Fivians, Jum suggested trying HH on zone 2. Sure nuff, it fired right up.

We love our Apex. What a sweet driving coach!

Hey congrats on your Apex! That indeed was us leaving after about 2 weeks boondocking in the desert. We are now at TTN at Palm Desert and the first thing we did here was hit the hot tub and a very long shower. So where are your travels going to take you? We would love to see what you had done to your coach.
Have fun in your new APEX.

Greetings from Lake Conroe, Texas,

Finally, I am posting pictures of the cabinet work we had done to our Apex in Junction City, Oregon by Amazing Creations (Scott Adams) (541)556-0501. Scott has years of experience with another cabinet maker in Junction City and Monaco. The quality and workmanship are OUTSTANDING!

He also did Jim & Linda Fivian's coach a few days after ours. Theirs is an entirely different approach. How about some pictures Jim.

To; Tose with Hydro Hot problems;

I have an 02 diesel pusher with Hydro heat and have learned it has to be fired up frequently, the filter and nozzle changed once a year, more often for heavy use and the chamber kept clean.

Before I did above, I had the no ignition problem, reset buttons running in and out of rig and so on, but since doing above,no problems.

One other thing, when you start diesel burner let it run/prime for about 3 minutes, if it doesn't ignite, shut it off , wait a few minutes and try again, and again if necessary.

Hope this works for you .. The HH is a good system but like most tings, needs maintainance.

Thanks======= AJBJRVERS
