New to me 2001 34' Alpine

After 6 months of looking for the right coach, I just bought an 01 Alpine coach from a Alpine coach forum member in So Cal. going to pick it up this weekend. Thanks to members of this and irv2 members, aided in my search for the right coach. I have been to see and drive twice in the last several weeks. looking forward for input and sharing more in the months to come. This is our first MH, and will be retiring in 3 months, and we are looking forward to some traveling. thanks again Bob and Gina.

Welcome. Our first motorhome was our Alpine Coach. Heck that was our first RV unless a tent counts.

Let me guess you drove it twice because it was so fun. That is what we did!

This is by far the most organized and knowledgeable owners group on the forum. With a large library to back us up. Developed by some AMAZING people!!!!

We live out in our old van. Travel all across this land. Drive until the city lights dissolve into a country sky, me and you - hand in hand.

Welcome from a fellow 34' er

Hello and welcome! I am a somewhat new Alpine owner. I got my 2008 34FDDS in January of this year and will be retiring in 2015! I hope! I really think you have chosen a great motorhome. I like mine so far and this site is full of very knowledgeable people that will be of great help to you as you learn all about your new coach. I have learned a lot and still have much to learn. I hope I can get it all by the time I retire. I am working on mine to make it like I want it before I retire so I havent been able to do much traveling. Also I am required to get a special license to operate the +26,000lb motorhome here in South Carolina. I am trying to get my ducks in a row.
For me the Alpine is a quality built coach and drives and handles better than some of the other brands. I did drive several before getting the Alpine. I also wanted the shorter model as I will be camping in some State parks around home.

Again Welcome and Happy traveling!
