Welcome to the Alpine site. I did a search of the Alpine site for "alternator" and many threads came up. You might want to do the same and read them. Below is one search thread that I think might help you and your problem.

Alternator replacement older Alpines

You may want to join the Alpine Coach Association. Lots of great info on our tech site. Just google and the info to join is there. You may not get as many responses as usual because the ACA is having a rally at Quartzsite starting tomorrow and many Alpines are enroute. There will be 115 or so at this event. Great info to be learned at this and other events.

Look at some of the signature (you can set this up in your private info) lines, which give a little info about coach, i.e. year, model (ft), door placement and slides. 2001, 36 FDDS etc. That way you'll get more answers from Alpine owners with like year coaches.

Good luck,

Dan R.
