No water to flush toilet or hand sprayer
When the toilet is flushed no water enters the bowl and the hand sprayer doesn't spray. There is water in all the sinks, shower, etc.
I at first suspected the foot activated valve may have failed but it looks like these are mostly replaced for leaks. Could there be a blockage someplace else?
My daughter and son-in-law are on a trip with the Alpine and are encountering this problem so I'm not able to be hands-on with this issue.
Thanks,
Tom

Could be that the shut-off valve is turned to the off position. This would be the simple solution.

Where is the shutoff valve on your Alpine? I didn't know it had a shutoff valve.

Sounds like something has come loose on the valve. Could be a loose cable to the valve.

Hi Larry,
Alpines have a valve that is directly depressed with a foot pedal. The pedal is depressing the water valve and nothing is coming through. It does sound like a blockage or a mystery shutoff valve has been accidentally closed.

Good afternoon Tom; Not super familiar with the Alpine Coaches but, I am sure you must have the water manifold in one of the bays under your coach like my 01 Windsor has. The manifold has separate hot and cold lines running from the manifold to the kitchen, toilet, shower and etc. This makes supply problems easy to find as they use separate lines to supply different areas. I would have your son-in-law go in the bay and find the manifold and see if something there is wrong. It should be a place to start looking. If the owners manual is in the coach, all that info should be there under water or plumbing. Let us know how it all shakes out. Good luck! Also what model of toilet do you have in the coach. I had a Sealand in my previous coach and had some problem with the vacuum breaker located on the back of the toilet. Don't know if this helps any or not.

Not sure what brand toilet you have but the spring tension can still operate the pedal but if the connection between the pedal and valve has come loose, the valve will not operate.
You may find a good tutorial through Google.

To locate the shut-off valve, find where the water comes into the toilet area. Follow that tubing to where it attaches to the toilet. Some where along that section of tubing you will find the shut-off valve. We have replaced the toilet in our Alpine and the valve is behind the toilet. IIRC the original toilet had the valve to the left of the toilet if you are facing it. Hope this helps.

There should be a PEX shut off valve behind the toilet in addition to the valve in the toilet.

When I read your post, I reached behind our toilet and found the quarter turn valve along the supply line to the toilet on the left hand side while facing the toilet. Perhaps you'll find one there too?
