Number of Alpine’s Mfr’d
Does anyone know how many Alpine Coaches were manufactured during the manufacturing period by year to the factory closing? I’m especially interested in how many were manufactured in 1999, as that’s our year.
Thanks
Dave

IIRC someone was (thinking about) putting together a list (by coach build number) of all the coaches built and their current owner or disposition, to post on ACA's website. WRV maintained a list and updated it when a 2nd owner would call for parts/service/info. Did anyone get a hold of that list? Can one of the ex-WRV employees/managers get a copy. It may soon be too late (if it isn't already).
Maybe Mark Harrah?
NOTE TO ADMINISTRATORS:
1. I can't seem to search within the forum. Even a simple search returns more than a hundred unrelated threads. I'm looking for Alpine specific information, not information on Ford engines and TT jacks.
2. When you move a thread, we cannot see if it has been updated with a new post. It now requires I revisit every moved post just to see if it has been added to.
3. What happened to "naming" a URL for clarity?
4. I'd look for the appropriate method to communicate this information to you, except searching for the proper place returns too many threads.
5. What makes a thread "hot"?
6. In spite of my crabbiness, I like some of the features. I'll let you know when I think of them.
7. Where are the fun icons? The ones provided are supressing eMike's ability to spread nuanced sarcasm.

Okay, now I see how to search this forum (only), why is it separate from the other search tools?
Sorry I bumped your question, Dave. My hands and frustration were faster than my brain.
On the subject of units manufactured and who owns them, can't we start a listing here? Stick it to the top of the forum? If we know the starting and ending numbers, folks can just put their name next to their build number. I'm 74727.

I'm 75404. We purchased the unit in February 2005. The reason I call it an 05-06 is that we were lucky enough to get the larger bathroom/bedroom slide on our unit that was an 06 change.

Our 2005 purchased Nov 2005 is 75316. It looks like the number is the last 5 digits of the vin # if anyone doesn't know their number.

We picked up our "09 36FDTS" in January '08 and it was #75804. There were a few more behind us.

I think first we need more info. IIRC there were 1200+ or 1400+ total coaches minted. If the first coach was 74001, and the last was 758xx, then there was an escalation to the 75k serial numbers that would account for the lost 400-600 serial numbers. Can't tell yet what happened there. Maybe when this thread has 80 or 90 responses.
