Help!! I am trying to locate an 8 ft. piece of beltline channel for an 02 36 ft. Alpine. It is the piece that the compartment doors hook to. WRV says they no longer stock this part. Any info will help. Thanks Rick

Rick I am shocked that WRV no longer stocks that piece. They must have some replacement piece that you could get. What does a person do if that piece breaks are gets damaged in an accident?
What happened that you need that channel?

Just a little accident Joe. I would think WRV would keep major parts like this for more than a few years. I guess after you buy a coach, you are on your own.

Yup - welcome to our world. I got so tired of hearing that parts were obsolete.

A really smart company would think about the fact that if they want REPEAT business, then the owners of coaches need to be able to sell those coaches in order to by new ones. And if you treat subsequent owners with a little dignity, who knows they might decide to trade up for a new coach. At the very least, they will give good word-of-mouth recommendations - - and that is something that WRV needs.

I have an 02' MDDS 36' and so if I need something for this coach I am going to be told it is obsolete.
My wifes car is an 03' MBZ and I bet I can get any part for that car and it didn't cost the money the coach did.

This might not help your situation but while at the Newport pre-rally, my belt molding was removed, dried out (water) and resealed. I noticed that there are clips to hold the molding which look like they could be used to replace previous versions. It would require replacing all to match, but maybe better than the alternative.
