I have to replace my 35 amp circuit breaker on my 7.5 Quiet diesel generator. The original one had a faulty switch knob and broke last year. Now the switch is bad and I ordered another one from Cummins/Onan.($85 plus shipping!) The new one arrived with a broken switch knob in an unopen box. They are obviously no good. Anyone know af a replacement of better quality?

Get the specific type info off the side of the circuit breaker and compare to other manufacturers. They may also make this CB for other applications. It sounds like they may have had a bad batch of switches. Mine is 9 years old and still good.

Richard, find a good electrical supply house specially one that deals with the construction trade. Take your old/ new breaker whatever and see if they can match it.

I just replaced a 30 amp breaker in my Onan 7000 (gas). Mine was $23.10 +$6.50 shipping and you can get them here.

Here's the company and specs Airpax

The best is to pull the broken breaker and get the part number, then see if OnlineComponents.com have it in stock.
