Parts installation at FMCA gatherings

We have been FMCA members for a while but never have been to any rallies. Now that we own a Alpine coach ('99 36'MDS) and joined the Alpine Coach group we will try to make it to more gatherings.iRV2 has been a great help answering some of my questions about my coach and I greatly appreciate the response to some of my questions.I know I need to replace my shocks, and it looks like Koni, is an accepted brand amongst the Alpine folks. My question is do they have places at the rally that will install them, if bought there?Unfortunately we had to cancel our trip to Quartzite due to problems with the coach, never trust an RV salesman!!

Every FMCA or Good Sam rally we've been to has had vendors that do installations but the time slots fill up fast. At the Redmond FMCA rally I got the Cummins rep to come and download all the codes from the ECM. There were lots of awnings being installed as well as roof work and window sun covers.

We had Koni shocks installed at the FMCA Convention in Redmond. Redlands was the vendor that did the installation at our site.

Worth a call, but I suspect Redlands will also be at the next FMCA Convention in Pomona in March.

Over the years the FMCA Rally's in Indio, CA I had my RV detailed, awnings replaced, suspension work done and had tow brake system installed on my toad. I have also seen roofs resealed/coated, satellites installed and mobile electrical repair trucks in the camp sites.
Many installations are done at your campsite and sometimes there are areas set aside for installers like at Quartzsite near the big tent during their RV Rally in January. Redlands from OR were installers at both of these. They will also be at the FMCA Reunion in Pomona, CA in March 2015.

Have had installations of stuff done at FMCA rally's. Can be good pricing and convenient.

Tow bar manufacturer usually there as well. Good opportunity for a cleaning, tune up, and integrity check.

At Redmond RoadMaster was going around and inspecting towbars, gave mine clean bill of health. Which they should have as it was the first trip out after a factory rebuild.
