The power driver seat on our 2005FDQS will not work. I have checked all connectors under the seat. They are all connected. I could not find a fuse in the power line under the seat.

Does anyone know, is there a fuse?

My friend has a 2001 36ft alpine. His power driver seat ouit working and he found an in line fuse in the battery compartment that had blown. Sometimes twisting the driver chair to far can stretch the wiring under the seat and creat a short.

The footrest switch on the passenger seat is a good bet for shorting out as turning the seat into the coach puts a lot of strain on the wires. The "crossover" bars on that switch are exposed and can be shorted easily unless taped off. This blows the in-line fuse in the battery compartment so that the driver's seat is inoperative also. My in-line fuse is in the top of the compartment, coming off the center breaker.

Sorry for not responding in a timely manner. Have been having computer problems.

Have not had a chance to check for the fuse in the battery compartment. Coach is in for warranty repair.

Again thanks for all of the input.
