When I have the under cabinet lights on above the table then turn on the under cabinet lights above the sofa on the passenger side, both sets of lights will pulsate. If the lights are low, the pulsating cycle is slow. It the lights are turned up to max, the pulsating is not very noticeable. The under cabinet lights on the driver's side are not affected.

Any ideas what is causing this?

Tom,
is there any correlation to your intermittent running light problem?

Tom,
Mine do the same thing but as you said the pulsating is not very noticeable. It doesn't seem to happen all the time and we have not looked into the reason. Just learned to live with it. May have something to do with the battery levels or charging circuits. If you come across a solution let us know.

Could you possibly have a bad dimmer switch? Just a thought.

My Alpine suffers from this "pulsing" of the recessed halogen lights. Has anyone every figured this out?

Thanks,

Had an episode once with pulsating halogen lights on PS above table & recliner for a short time. At about that same time, replaced of couple of the wore out overhead fluorescent lamps. That was a couple of years ago & have not had any more episodes of pulsating halogen lights. Did have to replace a failed dimmer switch for the halogens over the recliner a couple of months ago.
As an aside, have noted the remote for Direct TV satellite receiver in bedroom will not work if the the overhead fluorescent lights are on.
