If the monitor is black and white, you may want to consider getting a modern higher quality camera. Systems allow multiple low light cameras, rear cameras that can power tilt up and down and also left and right 180* with up to 7 inch monitors.

Mine went our last year. I can't remember the name of it. When I looked the camera it was hard wired out of the camera. There was no slack or plugs in the wire. You could not even splice the wire as it was so tight going through the rear roof.

I decided it was not worth trying to use the short wire. I with replaced it commercial camera.
www.eccogroup.com Gemineye Camera System, Model K7000B, 7" LCD Color Monitor, IR night vision camera,65' camera cable. It is on sale right now @www.potterwebster.com for $265.

I have a 40 foot motorhome and I ran the cable inside the back corner of the motor home and along the frame to the cockpit. Not a lot of extra cable. It has a great color picture. I had no place to mount 7" monitor, so it is on top left side dash.

Dennis, the 06 Alpines have a color system made by Voyager. Camping World has them.

Dave, will any of the voyager rear cameras fit on the back of the coach in place of the original or is it a certain model?
