Does anyone have info to adjust rear slide on a year 2000 Alpine. The closet needs a little push to get it started to fully extend, when retracting it seems to work fine.

I copied the following from a previous post I made a year ago. I believe the problem may be your molex connector, just as it was for mine. I haven't had any trouble since I did this.
---------------------------------------------

I had to actually help it in and out by pushing or pulling the top of the slide while my wife pushed the button. After spending most of Saturday inspecting gears, the motor, seals, and yes, even the awning tension, (suggestions from this topic responses) I looked for voltage drops in the circuit. Found that the relay board under the bathroom sink, which controls the direction of the slide, has a molex type connector with hollow split pins to make contact with the mating sockets. A voltage drop across them indicated a poor connection. Used a knife to spread the pins so they made a tighter contact with the sockets and this took care of the problem. These pins look like they should be rated at about 5 - 8 amps but I think the slide motor draws more than that. The relays are 25 amp and the fuse is 20 amp. This could be a systemic problem in this coach. Does anyone know if it has been changed in newer coaches?

Thanks Steve, I hope this works. I'll check it out tonight when I get home.
