They have a couple choices and I got the one for about #$68 it came to $78 shipped. It was to install, wireless from the back to the front cockpit. They even included the hole saw for a good fit of the sensors. The distance isn’t an issue.

I chose top dash mount and I think you can see it in the pictures.

One nice feature is, when power if first applied to the display, it goes through a self test and lights the LED's and sounds the alarm. If it doesn't receive a RF signal from the sensor interface transmitter it will go dark and quiet until it does. I wired the sensor interface box to the backup lights, so I only see and hear the system when I really need it.

J Rod, I don't secure mine for travel and it hasn't fallen on my head, yet! I through bolted the bracket to the plywood before installing it. I then mounted and locked the TV to the bracket so it could not move vertically. I then installed the plywood with TV attached to the cabinet. There are 3 very strong screws top and bottom holding the plywood. Before doing this I did reinforce the wooden mounting pieces that the screws go into. 18 months now and no problems.
I also keep my front tire pressures at spec for my axle load (95psi) which helps reduce the jarring you get hitting potholes etc.

Thanks John, I attached my adjustable mounting bracket with bolts to the vertical left side of the existing cabinet. Created a space below the 26" TV for electronics. Used velcro to attach the bottom of the back side of the TV to the new horizontal member. Looks like the advantage of your installation is the TV bottom rest on a horizontal element. Mine is hanging from the mounting bracket with the four screws and that is what causes my concern for anchorage during travel. By releasing the Velcro I can access the space behind the TV. The answer may be bunge cords or straps attached to the top of existing cabinet, and wrapped around the TV. Not my preferred method so will continue to ponder the solution.
