Red lit switch?

Hi all,
we recently purchased a 2004 FDTS alpine coach. Currently the coach is in storage and I operate the systems on a monthly basis. As I was running the gen, I noticed a red lit switch on the control panel, see attachment. Does anyone have an idea what it's for? Any hints would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Scott & Chris

The only red switch in my '03 turns the water heater on/off. If it is for the water heater I'm surprised it isn't more clearly identified as such including the "On" & "Off" indicators. If it is the water heater and your propane is turned on, the light will light indicating that it's lighting the burner. It can stay on for like 10 - seconds or more and then goes out when the burner lights. Otherwise, I haven't a clue. Hopefully someone with an '04 will chime in to verify its purpose.

That certainly looks like the hot water propane ignition switch as Bob suggested. That isn't where it is located on my '04 36MDDS however. On and Off are clearly labeled on mine. And I believe mine is labeled as to the function as well, but I don't remember off the top of my head.

And welcome to IRV2!! Congratulations on your new coach.

Looks like an after-market addition from a previous owner--unlikely WRV used white screw heads in that cabinet and no labels--possible but not likely. So let the adventure begin--good luck!

I agree. Unlikely it is factory. Mine looks like that Security light switch below it.

Thanks for the quick responses and suggestions. I'll investigate next time I'm at the coach. Got a love a good adventure.

This is just an experienced guess but worth a look.

It may operate a cooling fan behind your refrigerator

On my 2007 there is an unlabeled red light on the panel above the passenger seat. It goes on when one of the switches adjacent to that seat is on. It indicates power to the storage bay lights.

Red lit switch!

Update on Red lit switch
After purchasing a new dish network box and a little investigating, we found the Red rocker switch located in the zantrex control panel is the power to the winegard dish on the roof.
Do love this forum!
