Remote Keyless Entry System

All - I dropped my keys the other day, and broke the key fob housing for the coach. The electronic part is fine. The system was made by Tri-Mark, and it's no longer made so it's replace the computer (which includes new fobs) or try to find one someplace else. I have checked with Audrey's and they did not get any at the auction. I have checked on e-bay, there are three used ones, two of which are real worn out looking. The other one the fellow does not want to deal and I am not paying his price for the used FOB.

Does anyone else have any other ideas of finding one short of replacing the computer part for $219.00 We only received two fobs when we purchased the coach.

I am going to check with wrecking yards maybe a car came with that system and there are a few of them around that way. It's no longer being used. FWIW - The FCC ID #: JLFTX4 does bring in some hits doing a search on the internet, but those prices are way too high for my blood, for again a system that is old.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in Advance.

Keyless Entry

Monty - we have never used our fob - why don't you just use the keypad next to the door?

Yep, except we don't use the coach much in the Summer time and I forget what the number is. I did get some funky glue, and put a drop in the place the screw goes, then put it back together, and once the glue set up it stayed together. So that may be all there is to that after all.

It was worth a shot but what I have won't work. Might give Visone's RV salvage a call, they're in Kentucky. I enjoyed doing biz with them, friendly but professional.
